Spring was well and truly in the air as we celebrated our Flower Festival weekend. The Flower Festival is a celebration of our town in flowers featuring 'Significant events in Irthlingborough's history'. Over the weekend there were numerous wonderful displays of flowers in our church.We also had several different stalls including accessories, books and quality bric a brac. Morning coffee and afternoon teas were enjoyed by many visitors over the weekend and on Saturday there was also an opportunity to buy your lunch (pudding was a really scrumptious home-made apple pie!). On Sunday we held a family service where we invited all those who had been baptized in our church to attend with their families.
